1. Company Overview

Steadfast Storm Shelters (“Steadfast,” “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides storm shelter products, delivery coordination, installation services, and related support. Services may include steel and concrete storm shelters, above-ground and underground installations, delivery, site coordination, and permitting assistance.

Steadfast may coordinate work performed by third-party manufacturers, transport providers, and installers.

2. Estimates, Pricing & Scope of Work

All pricing provided verbally, electronically, or in writing is an estimate unless explicitly stated otherwise in a signed agreement.Final pricing may change due to, but not limited to:

  • Delivery distance or access limitations
  • Site conditions (soil, slope, rock, utilities, obstructions)
  • Permit or inspection requirements
  • Manufacturer pricing changes or lead times
  • Installation complexity or customer-requested changes
  • Weather delays or equipment requirements

Only the final written estimate or invoice governs the scope and price of work. No verbal statements or assumptions are binding.

3. Deposits, Payments & Non-Refundable Costs

  • Deposits may be required prior to ordering, delivery, or installation.
  • Deposits are non-refundable once manufacturing, material procurement, delivery scheduling, or installation coordination has begun.
  • Final payment is due according to the approved estimate or invoice.
  • Failure to remit payment may result in suspension of delivery or installation.

4. Delivery, Installation & Scheduling

All delivery and installation timelines are estimates only and not guaranteed.Delays may occur due to:

  • Weather or ground conditions
  • Manufacturer delays
  • Equipment availability
  • Site readiness issues
  • Acts of God or circumstances beyond our control

Customer is responsible for ensuring the site is accessible, safe, and ready prior to delivery or installation.


5. Site Conditions, Utilities & Access

Customer is solely responsible for:

  • Ensuring underground utilities are properly located and marked
  • Providing adequate access for heavy trucks and equipment
  • Disclosing any known underground or surface hazards

Steadfast is not responsible for delays, damage, or additional costs caused by undisclosed site conditions or inadequate access.


6. Driveway, Landscaping & Surface Damage

Delivery and installation may require heavy trucks, trailers, cranes, or machinery.Customer acknowledges that such equipment may cause damage, including but not limited to:

  • Cracked, chipped, or sunken driveways
  • Rutting or sinking of yards
  • Damage to sidewalks, landscaping, irrigation systems, or paved surfaces

Steadfast is not responsible for damage resulting from the weight or operation of delivery or installation equipment.Protective measures or alternative access methods may be requested in advance and may result in additional cost.


7. Permits, Codes & Compliance

Unless explicitly stated in writing, the customer is responsible for obtaining all required permits, inspections, approvals, and code compliance.

Local regulations vary and may affect installation requirements, placement, or cost.


8. Manufacturer Warranties & Product Responsibility

Storm shelters are manufactured by third-party manufacturers.All warranties related to:

  • Materials
  • Construction
  • Structural integrity
  • FEMA or ICC compliance

are provided solely by the manufacturer, unless otherwise stated in writing. Steadfast makes no additional warranties, express or implied.

9. Third-Party Contractors & Services

Steadfast may coordinate services performed by third parties. While we make reasonable efforts to work with reputable providers, Steadfast is not responsible for delays, defects, or failures caused by third-party manufacturers, transport providers, or installers.

10. Customer Responsibilities

Customer agrees to:

  • Provide accurate site information
  • Ensure site readiness
  • Communicate constraints or concerns prior to delivery
  • Review and approve estimates before work begins

Failure to do so may result in additional costs or delays.

11. Cancellations

Orders may not be canceled once materials are ordered, manufacturing has begun, or delivery/installation is scheduled.Any cancellation requests are subject to review and may result in forfeiture of deposits and incurred costs.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Steadfast shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
  • Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific product or service

13. Force Majeure

Steadfast is not responsible for delays or failure to perform caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, extreme weather, supply chain disruptions, labor shortages, or governmental actions.

14. Electronic Acceptance

Submission of a form, approval of an estimate, payment of a deposit, or scheduling of service constitutes electronic acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

15. Governing Law & Venue

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms & Conditions, together with any written estimate or invoice, constitute the entire agreement between the parties and supersede all prior communications.
